I’m gonna make a “timeline” to show what led me to this reflection:

• Years ago: “If I were in a relationship, I wouldn’t want to have any sexual experience with them.” (figured out I was Ace)
• Few years later: “If I were in a relationship, I wouldn’t want to share finances."
• Few years later: “If I were in a relationship, I wouldn’t want to do romantic traditions cause they seem annoying and senseless."
• Few years later: “If I were in a relationship, I wouldn’t want to live together."
• Few years later: “If I were in a relationship, I wouldn’t want to kiss or touch them and be kissed or touched by them.”
• Few months ago: “I don’t want to have to explain myself or “get permission” from someone else to make minor or major changes to my life. That sounds awful.”
• Recently: “Do I even want a relationship? Sounds like a lot of work and 0 benefits… Am I aromantic?”
