There's no reason for online only players to get excited for collections
This year SDS has made it so a lot of cards are locked behind offline games modes like Showdown, Conquest, and Mini-Seasons, and they make these cards unsellable too. Due to this, if you're an online only player then you can't complete the recent Mexico City Series, Jackie Robinson Day, and Cityscapes collections. That also limits your ability to collect the 99 Miguel Cabrera. So why should people like me, who play online only, get excited for these collections?
I know people say the offline stuff is easy to do, and I'm not disagreeing, but it takes time. And shouldn't we want people to play game modes they enjoy with their limited free time?
There's actually an easy solution. MAKE ALL CARDS SELLABLE/BUYABLE. SDS made online cards that way for the people who are offline only. They should do that for online only people too. Until then, there's no reason for online only players to get excited about collections.
