I've started treating every closed browser tab as a write-off unless I acted on it first

I close maybe 30 tabs a week that I genuinely meant to come back to. Almost none get revisited. By the time I'd want the information, I can't remember enough to find it again. So I changed my rule: if I close it without doing something with it first, it's gone. That's changed how I browse. It's also exhausting and I'm not sure it's sustainable. How does anyone else deal with the closing-a-tab problem?
