Screen frozen help needed

On WhatsApp, the ‘Agree and Continue’ screen works normally and I can tap everything. But after moving to the ‘Enter your phone number’ screen, the app becomes completely unresponsive. I can’t tap the phone number field, the keyboard doesn’t appear, and none of the buttons or options respond.
