Why does every AI just validate whatever you suggest instead of pushing back?

Been using an AI tool for style decisions lately and the thing I didn't expect was that it pushes back. Asked it about wearing a black suit to a dinner, it told me black wasn't really my palette and redirected me to navy. Felt more like talking to someone who actually knows what they're talking about than getting a list of options. Anyone else moved away from generic AI for this kind of thing?
