Career Change into Teaching

I am interested in pursuing teaching as a second career. I would become licensed through a masters program. I’m considering becoming an Intervention Specialist with an ELA endorsement. We’re in Ohio so any advice on which colleges to consider is helpful.

Is this a worthwhile endeavor? I will be 40 by the time I graduate and apply for jobs. I’ll be re-entering the workforce after 10 years of being a SAHM.
