The opposition often tries to belittle PK by saying that it took him 15 years to become an MLA, but that is simply untrue and misleading.

When he didn't even choose to contest in 2009 & 2014 how can one say that it took him 15 years to become and MLA?

It is only in 2019 that he contested and lost by little margins and by 2024 he won by a huge margin.

So, 15 is indeed a misleading figure cited, just to belittle him. The original figure is 5 and yes it took an election cycle for him to win due to 100s of factors like money politics, casteism, electoral malpractices, triangular fight, etc.
