is it silly to celebrate mother's day as a pregnant ftm?

the other day, my father in law had asked my husband what his plans were for his mom for mother's day, and my husband had said "well i don't know, i have to worry about (my name) now," and my father in law immediately responded with "well yeah, next year."

i had kind of been excited for mother's day, i'll be 22 weeks pregnant and i mean, everyone has been calling me mama anyway, but now my vibe is dead. was it silly to want to do something? i really don't know anymore. i just told my husband not to worry about me and focus on his mom, especially cause she's been going through health issues the past year, but like. damn 😭
