Tag says explicit because I'm primarily looking for something that might develop into a regular book up based on mutual attraction/interested, but I'm also open to regular friendships based on mutual interests.

Happy to text or chat online prior to gauge initial interest.

I have no gender-based limitations in either case.

Things I enjoy and hope are of interest to someone:

\- Exploring and enjoying local restaurants

\- Most Asian cuisines are favorites, but I enjoy just about any type

\- Boardgames: wide variety, but tend towards euros on the medium- to heavy- weight side

\- - Favorite games: Castles of Burgundy and Viticulture - not particularly heavy, but I can consistently get people to play and I enjoy them a lot

\- Reading: typically fantasy and sci-fi, but here lately mostly horror (about 75%) and a few mystery/thriller series

\- - Favorites are hard to pin down, but number one: I'm one of the poor souls who've been reading the Song of Ice and Fire series since Game of Thrones first hit paperback and still hoping for closure.

\- - Recent highlights last couple of years: Head Full of Ghosts; The Old Lady; The Stranger Times (not things) series; Rivers of London/Peter Grant series

\- Movies: probably not surprising, but also mostly horror with the occasional action or thriller

\- - Favorites: Extremely hard to choose, but definitely high on the list: The Haunting (1963); I Saw the Devil; Oldboy; Snatch; A Clockwork Orange (also a favorite book, but only the full/European version)

\- Video games: mainly story-driven JRPGs, horror, or action games

\- - Recent favorites: Trails series, Persona series, Last of Us, Evil Within, Alan Wake, Good of War, What Became of Edith Finch and too many more.
