Demos wanted for new label

Hello, I am starting a new label/collective that will be digital releases only at first, but may progress to physical formats. A little back info: I am a 45 year old who has been into IDM since I was about 14 or 15, it got me passionately into electronic music. I am not really doing this for money, and I purely want to do this as a passion project. I will most definitely pay the artists upfront for the rights to release the music under this label. Nothing has to sell for this label to flourish. I feel like the only way to keep a label pure and in my heart is when no money pressure exists for it to exist.

In regards to the music I seek out: I am going to be very honest here, I want to release only the most intense emotionally provoking IDM that can be created. Generally leaning HEAVILY into extreme glitchy and manic percussion over very soul massaging melody and harmony. This contrast is SPECIFCALLY the sound I seek out. The label name will be "Silk & Sandpaper" which should highlight this aesthetic that I seek out. I feel like a lot of breakcore is very close to what I want, but a lot of it lacks the type of melody that really inspires and brings a deep emotional response. When both hit you right in the face simultaneously, I am in extreme bliss. And that is precisely the music I want to release. Stuff like "Ziggomatic 17" and "Hasty Boom Alert". Anything that you may just think "this is nice" is probably not going to meet the standards I'm looking for. "This is good enough" is actually not good enough. If its not full shivers up my spine I'm probably going to pass. I want the standards to be incredibly high, and make most modern music pale in comparison.

I know IDM is a broad term and tons of trip hip and downtempo and ambient is considered IDM (and should be), but the vision I have here is more at the extreme and manic end of things. I would potential release some ambient or downtempo music but it would have to be very unique or embrace a strong contrast in elements (early Tim Hecker might be a good example). The vision is "Silk & Sandpaper"

If you think your music would align with my vision, please send your demo to: silkandsandpaper@proton.me any links or file attachments or anything easy to playback should all be fine. I will most definitely contact you if anything sparks my interest. Thank you so much. - Dan
