How do you all play FPS games on Deck? Can’t get the hang of gyro

Been trying to get into using gyro for FPS games on my Deck but it’s just not clicking yet. Feels awkward.
Curious how everyone else plays shooters on here:
• Pure stick aim?
• Gyro + stick combo (and how do you have it set up)?
• Trackpad?
• Some other setup I’m not thinking of?
Also open to tips for actually learning gyro if that’s what most people swear by. How long did it take to feel natural? Any sensitivity settings or activation methods (always on vs. gyro-as-mouse when touching the right stick) that made it click for you?
