How did Timberwolves become so likeable ?

I understand why OKC is less likeable but I would’ve thought the spurs would be as much or more likeable than the wolves. But gaging the internet this morning, I see more negative sentiment towards spurs than wolves. I would’ve absolutely thought Wembys 12 blocks would have the internet glazing all day despite the loss.
