Thoughts on Harry Ginny Pairing

I guess J.K. didn’t want romance to be the main focus, but it still feels like a missed opportunity, especially in the later books.

The story is full of adventures, and that kind of setting actually works well with romance. You have plenty of opportunities for romance to develop naturally, shared danger, cohabitation, tension, push and pull, even some mysterious stranger meeting during the journey.

But with Harry as the protagonist, we barely see that around him. (We got something with Hermione in the forest but it didn't go anywhere.)The pairings felt more like formality.
