Commercial energy projects are getting harder to manage from one screen.

A single site can now include solar panels, batteries, grid power, backup generation, EV chargers and fuel logistics. Each asset has its own cost profile. Each one affects power use, emissions reporting, maintenance and demand charges. When those systems sit in separate tools, the customer has less control over the project after installation. NextNRG’s latest update goes after that problem. The company expanded its AI-driven dashboard with energy-flow analytics, monthly cost reporting, carbon offset tracking, asset inventory, EV charging management and real-world site visualization.

The cost-reporting piece is important because it gives customers a clearer way to defend the purchase. A facilities team can show how much power came from on-site generation, how battery storage changed consumption and where EV charging created extra load. That kind of reporting helps turn a project from a capital expense into a measurable operating decision.

Carbon tracking adds another practical use. Many companies need emissions data for procurement, grant applications, financing, ESG reports and compliance work. A solar or battery installation becomes easier to explain when the dashboard shows the avoided grid draw and the emissions reduction tied to the assets on-site.

The policy backdrop still gives this market room to move. The IRS lists the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit for qualified EV charging and clean-fuel refueling equipment, with business credits of 6% or up to 30% if labor requirements are met, capped at $100,000 per item. The DOE also lists financing channels for clean-energy projects, while EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grants remain tied to state, local, tribal and territorial emissions plans. For NextNRG, the update gives the company a stronger role after the equipment is installed. A customer using the same platform for microgrid performance, EV charging, carbon reporting, fuel logistics and billing has more reasons to keep the relationship in place.

The company is building software around assets that already have budget pressure behind them: power reliability, EV charging, lower energy costs and emissions reporting. If customers use the dashboard to prove savings and manage multiple energy systems from one layer, NextNRG has a better path into long-term infrastructure contracts.
