IMT rotation worry

Concerned about my IMT rotations. I am looking to get into oncology after IMT2 but have not had any oncology placement in foundation years and now won’t have one in IMT! The only thing I have to it that’s close is resp which is guess will have lung Ca patients?

I’ve done 2 taster weeks but worried I will automatically be written off on commitment to specialty and have to do a clinical fellow year after IMT2 in Onc

Can anyone offer advice/has anyone got into med/clin Onc first time without having done an oncology job?
