AT&T vs GDMS(defense)

AT&T TDP: Middletown NJ

• 101k base
• 3k sign-on
• 9% success bonus
• 5 days in office

GDMS: Pittsfield MA 95k base

• no bonuses or sign-ons
• security clearance
• every other Friday off, more flexibility for hybrid
• team using JavaScript, React, Node, C++, Docker
• will have to renege

I'm living in NY, so commuting to AT&T will take probably 1.5 hrs unless I rent. If I do rent, it evens out the pay. For GDMS, I'd have to rent and driving to NY will take 3.5hrs. I plan to come back to NY weekly/biweekly. What do y'all think is better long-term? ik defense is more stable but does it lock me from other opportunities in the future? I am leaning AT&T for proximity to NY.
