How soon after surgery was your activation?

I had my CI surgery 6 days ago (just on my left) and later today I am going for activation. My doctor had said he has activated people the day after if they chose it, which seems wild to me since it took me until today to start to feel mostly normal again.

My incision site isn’t healed fully, as it’s sore and tender to the touch, and I believe there’s still glue that hasn’t come off in the shower. Has anyone else had activation this soon after? Is there a chance they make me reschedule? I’m eager to get this process started but don’t feel fully healed to wear an external device sitting atop my ear.
