I'm completely failing at Night Market and feel so dumb. Should I just give up and go back to the regular game?

I've been playing for about a year and I'm level 50 and CP level 217. I'm a casual player but I really enjoy the game. I just started the Night Market event and joined The Ruckus and have been sent out on my first quest to repair some wards. The second I leave the safe area and encounter the first enemies I die immediately. I've tried buffs, using companions, tried ranged, tried running away, and I die within 30 seconds every time.

Should I just give up and go back to the regular game? I know you guys get upset when players suck and I don't want to ruin other people's experiences and maybe I'm just too dumb to understand how to really play the game.
