Is there a kids shoe that allows for proper toe splay but has a flared base for lateral stability?

Need a shoe or fit recommendation

I know the purists will tell me such a thing is counterproductive and technically not barefoot. But my kid over-pronates and all his barefoot shoes have ridiculous uneven wear pattern and he’s having a lot of foot pain. He’s supposed to be in orthotics according to his pediatrician but we’re doing PT to increase foot and ankle strength/stability.

Oh how I would love a natural fit shoe with a nice wide toe box, flexibility and ground feel but a flared sole for lateral stability. So far my searches for such a thing have come up empty. Anyone know of a brand that makes this?

If this doesn’t exist, then is there a shoe with a natural fit that can accommodate thin inserts with slight ankle molding and the tiniest bit of cushioning in the arch? I have inserts like this but they don’t really fit in his shoes (he’s got Saguaro and Be Lenka currently. We’ve tried some Reima styles as well as vivobarefoot and wilding 💸😩)
