Need Advice from you all

Hi Guys, I am 22M from a Tier 2 city - I am planning to buy GT650 but I am also bit confused when it comes to Interceptor 650. I am hearing advices from people to go for a second hand car instead. Now before you guys help me, I just want to say that I will be using these just for fun rides mainly and sometimes touring on long weekends - that too maybe 500-800kms max. I am a bit inclined towards gt because it’s more charming than interceptor but I am no expert. So help a newbie out.
