Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a craftsman to build a project I have in mind: a specific type of backpack or rucksack for backpacking through Southern India. I’ve attached several images of the **Swedish M39** and some other rucksacks for reference.

In general terms, I’m looking for a **canvas bag**. I want something **rustic and human**, not something "perfect." Think of something you might find in a small craft shop in a remote mountain village anywhere in the world. I want it to be the complete opposite of a mass-produced pack from brands like Osprey or Deuter. I’m looking for something that feels handmade, carrying the essence of the person who made it rather than the precision of a machine.

The general idea is a simple fabric sack (like a "duffel" or cinch bag) with the following specifications:
• **Material:** Canvas/rustic fabric for the main body, shoulder straps, and hip belt.
• **Shoulder Straps:** Made of fabric, slightly padded for comfort.
• **Lumbar/Hip Belt:** This is very important for hiking. It should also be made of rustic fabric rather than modern synthetic materials.
• **Closure:** A simple drawstring/rope to close the top.
• **The Frame:** Ideally, I would prefer **no internal frame**. I want to be able to use it as a carry-on if it isn't fully packed. If a frame is absolutely necessary for stability, I’d prefer something like **wood** rather than plastic or aluminum.
• **Capacity:** Around **35 liters**.
• **Vegan-Friendly:** If possible, please **avoid using leather**.

I am currently in **Italy.** Please note: **I do not have a high budget.** Part of why I’m avoiding the "perfect" look of brands like Mystery Ranch or Osprey is because I’m looking for something simpler and more affordable. I’m not looking for extreme precision or professional-grade technical specs—just a functional, human-made canvas sack with straps and a hip belt.
If this sounds like something you can help with, I'd love to hear from you!
