Capsular contracture

Hey all,

I have an appointment with my surgeon in a couple weeks but I was wondering if anyone had experience with this.

I had a bilateral mastectomy with 360 cc implants 8 months ago. I was told ahead of time that my case might be challenging because I had a larger chest and the larger the implant, the more risk there is of a capsular contracture. Well, my right implant never descended the way the left one did and now definitely is firmer and seems slightly misshapen. I'm really bummed because the other one - even with the lack of breast tissue to cover it - look pretty good and feels soft.

Has anyone had experience with capsulectomy or capsulotomy? The original plan was to get fat grafting a year after the implants to improve the appearance, but I'm guessing if I need to get a revision on one side, that would have to be put on hold?
