My thoughts:

• Itsu: spat the sushi out as it was chewwy and disgusting
• Coco: refuse to pay an extorionate amount for curry
• Marugame: really good value on Monday lunch as 50% off. But very dirty seating and sticky tables. I've seen them make the udon from scratch so very fresh.
• For ramen my go to is Bone Daddies, Shuryu, or Ippodo
