đź‘‹ Welcome to r/NacOSCEPrep - Introductory Remarks!
Thank you for your interest inNACOSCE coaching.
My name is [Your Name], and I bring a diverse background in clinical medicine, academic research, and medical education across North American teaching institutions.
My clinical training includes experience in high-volume academic and tertiary-care hospitals throughout the United States and Canada, with focused exposure to a broad range of specialties including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Neurology, and Neurosurgery. This breadth of experience has provided me with a strong foundation in both clinical reasoning andpatient-centeredcommunication—core skills required for success on theNACOSCE.
In parallel with my clinical work, I maintain an active academic portfolio with multiple peer-reviewed publications and ongoing research at the Krembil Brain Institute / Toronto Western Hospital, University Health Network, where I am involved in advanced work in neuroradiology and neurogenetics.
My teaching philosophy is centered on delivering structured, high-yield, examiner-oriented preparation tailored specifically to theNACOSCE. Sessions focus not only on medical knowledge, but on the nuances that distinguish top-performing candidates:
- Efficient and organized station approach
- Advanced clinical reasoning under time pressure
- Canadian communication and counselling standards
- Examiner expectations and scoring strategy
- Personalized feedback with targeted remediation
My goal is to help candidates develop the confidence, structure, and clinical sophistication necessary to perform at their highest level on exam day.
I look forward to supporting you in your preparation.
