Why is the world slowly turning into one giant god damn LinkedIn profile?

The whole world feels like one big CV now. Everyone is turning into a KPI stat. Everything is performance, productivity, branding, networking, proving yourself, selling yourself, making yourself sound like a robot who is “passionate” about admin, emails and surviving capitalism.

Does anyone else feel like society makes it as hard as possible for traumatised people to climb back out? Even getting a job feels like you’re being slowly squeezed out unless you’re middle class, regulated to -0 in emotions and opinions, polished, protected, well-connected and fluent in corporate performance.
