Does anyone have actual dps or simple damage comparison between back stepping w/ fencing axe vs argent edge?

I'm trying to see which of these have better damage output. Parry>backstep>gunstrike with fencing axe or parry with Argent + gun strike.

Finding the bsckstepping super useful as it gets you out of trouble but im wondering if the damage im missing out on is worth worrying about or not
