Steering wheel noise

My 2016 camry has been making a groaning type of noise when I turn the steering wheel. I only notice it when my radio is off and I’m turning at a low speed like trying to park my car or leaving my street. First noticed it about two years ago. Seems to be getting louder. Any ideas on what it could be?
Apparently power steering fluid isn’t a thing for this car.
