What you would have done in this situation?

Pata hai aaj kya hua Today I suddenly remembered an incident happened suting my first departmental fest in college (I was freshly 18 and in first year of one of the North campuses college of DU) . I didn't know much how things operated by my work was to take blind students to competiton in a room. I had just guided one blind student and made him sit on the first bench. It was morning time and one unknown teacher was sitting there on teacher's table.

While I was taking him to the room I was also asked to bring some blank sheets. I had no clue where to get them from and instructions weren't clear as well so I thought that teacher might be having them. I went to her and said " Ma'am the reception is asking for blank sheets. Do you have them or where can I find them? She sudenly looked up from her phone and very rudely replied " What sheets!" I said "Ma'am i don't know they have asked. I am just in first year so really don't know." "She looked at her phone and again in her rude voice said " Being in first year isn't an excuse to being stupid."

I felt like crying at the moment. I have never heard such mean word from any teacher in my life , I have never created any trouble at school as well, I was a quite and do-as-told kid. Hearing this from a teacher and especially unknown teacher made me freeze. I felt some tears and a sinking feeling in my heart. I also felt humiliated infront of that blind kid as he was also listening (we had a pleasant chat while walking towards the room) . I didn't say a thing and went outside the room. I cried a little in a corner and came back to reception (where students were having their registration.) I seldom saw that teacher again but even its 7 years now, I can't forget that moment.
