TED Radiation Therapy
I have done some search's in the group and have only found older posts regarding Radiation therapy. I am interested to see if anyone has done Radiation Therapy for TED. A few things I have had TED since 2005. In 2023 I started Tepezza finished in 2024. My proptosis went down 3mm. November 2024 I did eyelid retraction repair for both my eyes. - They look better compared to what I had been living with since 2005. Now I am having Visual field loss based on my tests over the last year and pressure issues. Looking at a few options Tepezza a second time, radiation therapy or Orbital decompression surgery. Has anyone done radiation therapy? If so what was your experience. I know all of us are different. I know we have all different experiences. I was wondering how common it has been. Did you see any improvement? If so any issues beside the possibility of cataracts surgery after. Were you pleased with the outcome? What was the outcome? Leaning towards radiation as of right now. If this doesn't work maybe try tepezza again and Orbital decompression surgery.
