VOX Line/phone adapter

Hello, I got a Silverstone guitar and AD30VT amp from some guy for less than 100 euro. Is it possible to connect normal headphones with 6.35 to 3.5 adapter to the amp? I see there is Line/phone output in the rear but I'm wondering if it will actually work like that.
