How (not whether) do you teach your children right and wrong?

I was wondering how other people teach right and wrong to children outside of the church or temple or other religious organizations, where some people get some instruction.

I am not making a judgement that atheists don't teach their kids right and wrong. I believe most do. I am just wondering how. Some kind of formal education or something else?
