Hi! I had fish as a kid and have always loved them. Recently a friend of a friend had a heart attack and had to rehome a bunch of critters. I ended up with 11 red phantom tetras, 4 panda cory cats, a mystery snail (I think he’s hiding, hence the question mark in the drawing). I was given a 10 gallon tank, some plants, and some gravel. I went out and got a heater, a better filter, some Bug Bite fish flakes, quick start, and primer. The fish have been doing great so far and their color has come back since being moved from a bucket into their tank. Right now the tank is thrown together a bit haphazardly and I really want to create a living piece of art from it eventually. I’ve watched a bunch of videos on YouTube and done some research, but I was looking for some advice on the tank setup I’ve made a mockup of. I plan on getting more plants than what is pictured in the mockup. Do yall have any suggestions on what to add/take away to make the setup most conducive for these little guys to live a good life? Additionally, are there good one stop websites to find these supplies at an affordable price? I’ve been looking at Chewy but would prefer a more specialized website. I would appreciate any help and advice yall can offer! Thanks in advance.
