Direct Deposit to SCHWAB Checking

Anybody here use Schwab Investor Checking?

I'm 26 y/o, just separated after 8 years, and was awarded 30%. I want to deposit it in Schwab to be automatically invested in the stock market.

I want that $500 monthly to keep growing. I want to set it up and ignore it until i need the money.

Is that a good idea?
