The handwritten paper

My laptop broke the night before a paper was due. I had no backup. I had no money to fix it.

I wrote the paper by hand. Pen. Paper. 8 pages. My handwriting is terrible.

I submitted scanned images of my notebook pages. I attached an apology.

The professor gave me an A. They said you are the only student who wrote this paper without distractions. I could feel your focus.

I still type. But sometimes I wonder.
