Arc raiders help

I'm really struggling to grasp this game and it's beautiful and I think it will be fun but I'm overwhelmed by the mechanics and not really knowing what I'm doing other than wandering around aimlessly and getting killed. I'm in my 30's and I don't really play pvpve and I want to get into it but the YouTube videos I'm watching doesn't explain much they go through it so fast. Would anybody on PS5 that isn't toxic be willing to add me and sometime link up with me and just slowly show me the ropes? It would mean a lot. Im just not used to looter shooters but I really want to love this game.
