Maul Shadow Lord makes me want some novels of street level things like the Warhammer Crime novles

My other big franchise love in life is Warhammer 40k, and there's a small series of novels there that take place in a big city with kind of everyday people and street level crime stories. It's fun to see "average people" in a universe with such god-like beings and galactic existential horror, and seeing how a normal person would try to live in such a universe.

So seeing Maul Shadow Lord in this big neon dirty city, focusing on a few characters that are just average people like a detective dealing with this horrible empire, makes me want to see similar novels in the Star Wars universe.

Are there any books that are similar to this?
