Many people have had this idea or said they've built it, but I've spent the last month coding and actually built a fully fledged game, based in the real world where you have to physically go outside to capture wild animals.

Capture them, level them, battle and trade other players, and most importantly compete to hold ownership of gyms.

There's too much to explain here, so please ask me questions or critique it, I have tried to think of everything.

Some of the coolest features:

* Works with any wild animal, it uses image recognition, similar to Seek app.
* Health centres are located at places of worship in the real world, it works in every country, the game has players all over the world already.
* In-game stores are real world grocery stores.
* It uses your phone GPS to know where you are and whether you're in a natural area (not in a building for example), using a map service.
* The end game feature is Gyms: you take over a gym by defeating the current holder, then you can install your own team of animals and earn leaves (currency) for every challenger you defeat. The leaderboard lists players who are currently holding the most gyms.

So far, players have caught hundreds of unique species in Europe, US and Asia, but the game works globally. I had someone download the game yesterday and already encountered 51 different wild animals and caught 32 of them, then took over a gym.
