Confused about failing FG

I just wanted to come on here and ask if anyone else is confused about their scores.

This was my first time taking the test, and I thought I was going to do well. I used the REG reviews, YouTube, and even paid for a study guide from Udemy. When I went in and took that test I even thought to myself “wow, at lot of this is just a review of what I already know”.

I still ended up failing. I was only proficient in one section. I’m confused as to why, and I would like to know more. I did email Prometric and asked if there’s any way I can see how many questions I got wrong in each section, and they said “ASBOG score reports are designed to indicate performance by content area using a diagnostic summary, rather than providing detailed information such as the exact number of correct or incorrect answers per section. The report reflects whether your performance in each area met the established standard, but it does not include a breakdown of specific question results or percentages.” (quoted from the email). They also said that I should contact my state licensing board if i have any more questions.

I’m honestly driving myself crazy because it doesn’t seem right. general geology?! deficient?!? Idk maybe I’m digging to deep, and should just take it again in the fall. 🤷‍♀️

But congratulations to everyone who passed, you all deserve it!
