gotg update (brooke & danielle)

they talk about the ‘influencer’ and how she responded to brooke. (the last time they spoke about this brooke had dmed her and got no response)
so brooke said she didn’t get a reply for a while because the influencer was offline however she finally got one. apparently the apology was really good and she owned up to it completely. brooke got a ‘custom response’ and then i think (? correct me if i’m wrong) danielle implies that others involved got a ‘copy & paste’ one… danielle also says ‘the things you do when you’re in a terrible place.’ 👀 brooke says she hasn’t responded to the apology and i’m paraphrasing here but they essentially say that she feels enough shame that they don’t need to add any more onto her.

that’s pretty much it. i have seen some people continue to believe that the reddit scandal was somehow faked so it’s something to have confirmation of her admitting to it even in private.

sorry for being cryptic by not using her name but i just thought that was a safer way to go about it since they didn’t mention her name on the podcast either (even though we all know who it’s about).
