"Rotate the thought board"

Rotate for WHAT????

This mini games balancing is flawed. Idk if it wasn't tested/implemented correctly or if infold just shrugged and pushed it out the door as filler between swiping mist away so we can oggle men in beads.

\- The rotate function/physics are rarely helpful as prioritizing the top layer emotions is almost always optimal, and rotating only moves the layers if there's only one emotion pin left in it.

\-in higher levels and endless mode it has a tendency to give impossible emotion combinations toward the middle-end

\- you can shuffle to get out of this but you can't earn shuffles in endless so once the game deals you two bad hands you're done

\- even when you do have a shuffle it doesn't necessarily guarantee the new board configuration is viable

\-it appears they want to increase complexity by adding more emotions into the game but don't really have a balanced way of detecting if the requested 3 match is even viable

\-when an emotion is a valid choice is unclear? It seems like 10% covered is not ok but if it's just a smidge of the circle you can still tap it.

(Or maybe I just have a skill issue?)

I assume the "optimal" version of this game would have layers that could have some emotions that would pin the board down and others that would be hidden unless rotated or moved out of the way to make a more engaging physics puzzle but that would be much higher design effort and programming.

I do appreciate Infold's commitment to always having a mini game for these events, it's natural that some will be better than others. I just wish this sorting game was designed better so I could shake it down for more free dopamine.

Bad Game design (light hearted)
