Courthouse or Destination Wedding

Hi guys! Help your girly out. 😭

We're starting to plan our wedding and I'm torn between civil wedding (courthouse) or destination wedding.

For context, my fam has this reputation of creating dramas in every fam event so to avoid that, I'm leaning towards more of an 'elopement' kinda wedding. Yung mala 'Angel Dei' type.

So I want to get your insights on my options below:

If courthouse:

- I want na sana kaming dalawa (but how about the witnesses?)

- On Angel dei's vid she mentioned na naghanap lang sila ng officiant and pirmahan lang talaga. Hows the processing of papers differ if via officiant or if sa cityhall? Paano maeensure if legit 😭

- No ceremony and planning to go out of the country after.

If destination:

- Part of me still wants to have a wedding walk, wear a wedding dress so my 2nd option is to have a batanes elopment wedding

- Same concern with paper processing

- We have a toddler and my concern is if this option will be kid-friendly.

Pls help me with the pros and cons 😭
