Ice cold take (also mauls in general outsmarting ❤️‍🩹)

Reasoning:

Direct Manipulation/Individual: Direct manipulation was kind of debatable but I decided to give it to Monika due to the fact that Makima pretty much solely relies on seduction in this area while Monika is much more versatile; she's shown to also be capable of manipulating MC by playing on the fact that he's obviously attracted to her, she's able to directly control other peoples actions and turning them against each other (Natsuki and Yuri) or splitting them apart (MC and Sayori), and she's able to foster something of a dependency with Natsuki, she did this by figuring out that she's being abused by her father and subsequently making the club her sanctuary (providing a place to hide her manga and always keeping a snack on her just in case Natsuki faints due to malnutrition).

Indirect/Emotional/Logical/Individual: Monika's Sayori isolation plan showed how good she is at subtle manipulation and influencing emotions. First, it required her to figure out why Sayori was upset (which was her hidden feelings for MC), and subtly instil guilt in both MC and Sayori without it being obvious what she was doing (which shows great control over the emotions of others). Given Sayori's reaction when questioned by MC it's likely that Monika had made her feel as though she was a burden and should stay away from MC (the first time MC attempts to talk to her she just brushes him off and leaves and the second time she mutters that "maybe Monika was right"). Even though the plan had somewhat failed (since Sayori ends up talking to MC about her feelings anyway) Monika's manipulation and guilt tripping had been so effective that Sayori ended up taking her own life (which wasn't what she had intended to happen, but essentially accomplished the same thing of removing her as a romantic rival).

Mass Manipulation/Emotional Manipulation: She's able to effectively market the game and convince people to play it (you could argue that Monika is likely also the one who created the trailers and other marketing for the game given she's clearly the one who published DDLC on steam), either way, she made the choice to make the game appear like a basic dating sim to get the most amount of interest in the game (which proved successful). She's also shown on multiple occasions to be able to very easily emotionally manipulate the entire club all at once, whether it be something like the Sayori isolation plan or convincing everyone to get on board with the festival; When Monika proposes the idea of the festival Yuri and Natsuki are very hesitant, so in order to convince them she connects with and understands their perspective and emotions and once again, using subtle guilt tripping to more easily convince them. She's also able to do the same thing in act 2 (when Sayori no longer existed), only this time acting disheartened by Yuri and Natsuki's refusal to join, this action also worked on another level as it further made Monika appear sympathetic and Natsuki in particular appear worse.

(Honestly, based on intuition I'm gonna say Makima probably takes mass manipulation, I just don't remember enough to articulate exactly why 😅)
