simple and easy middle ground for armor pallete customization

if there is no planned update for passives being added to helmets, (and if they were to do something so out of character to their massive catalogue of helmets retroactively it might as well be a few selectable passives like thermal vision, mech hud etc) why dont they add a few color swatches to each helmet so we can mix n match with armor better without corrupting the armor's identifiably they care so much about.
