Beginner - intermediate routes with exposure near geneva

I'm flying into Geneva end of May and looking to do some via Ferrata training. I'm going with someone who is very experienced on them and have all the gear etc. I bought a few books but they don't list many routes, has anyone any experience in going to somewhere like Chamonix for routes?

Ideally would love a base to stay for 4 days to be able to hit a good few, have a car.
