Thoughts on Singer SE9180 machine for quilting

I’ve been sewing for a few decades, but only started quilting last year. I recently had to retire my much loved Janome Quilter’s Companion machine, and I’m considering the Singer SE9180 machine ($999), vs the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 with Extension Table ($549). I don’t do a lot of regular sewing since my kids are grown, but I’d love to get more into quilting in the future.

Any thoughts on either of these machines would be welcome!
