Mutual aid thread. Not sure how this works!

Hi all! I’m grateful to have connected with you all here. I’m thinking it would be great to have a sub thread in here (not very well versed in Reddit, don’t know what it’s called or if I can make that myself? Is that what I’m doing now? haha) for any mutual aid campaigns we’re supporting/sharing. For folks in Palestine and everywhere else impacted by the violence of empire.

Here are three campaigns near to my heart:

My friend, Anwar, is supporting his family in Gaza and finishing school to become a physical therapist. He specifically needs support with his school bills that are due in June https://chuffed.org/project/114969-survival-funds-for-the-zidane-family?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZnRzaARokXpleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAac5OYtVtCHkbVyULOnnLVEtE9QA92yGEU0wtIOPH1vrZ7wlLZVhySUTvHb3NA_aem_wxEambwW99NEp6dreZeQyQ&brid=YWdncwEUkIYJAXGlgFOUtfy0WOiA&utm_id=97760_v0_s00_e0_tv3_a1dennhcx2ybyn

My friend Nader in Gaza is also the provider for his family and is recovering from a ruptured appendix. He is also an incredible writer and photographer and wants to share his writing with the world, if you want to follow him and support him in that way as well. https://l.instagram.com/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fchuffed.org%2Fproject%2Fnader-link%3Futm_source%3Dig%26utm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_content%3Dlink_in_bio%26fbclid%3DPAZnRzaARoki5leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAaef7BySerX0UX9uuEUaCbQ0WpRQhKweWf5ATEDDYig5ofJVMGZ009pGCH4Qqg_aem_cqio-OnmpxEutjednjnIKQ%26brid%3DYWdncwH6JKvZHXdGx70s2BSVmjJV%26utm_id%3D97760_v0_s00_e0_tv3_a1denngkgjleiq&e=AUD1y1U2S9LdIwhmu--EKvjlXSnebUHQ4jHPsYmn7AaRvU6y_sTlUqQFlDHrkrGAPtZIEQYxFJ2pL6s5tkSzwM9JAS192kl_BAAToYV23Q8QNEvfiGzYewHf8w

Omar Hamad, also a poet and writer and great lover of books, has built a library in the middle of the destruction in Gaza, with books he has saved and rescued from the rubble. He supports many members of his immediate and extended family and also runs the Phoenix Library: https://chuffed.org/project/154262-help-omar-and-his-family-rebuild-their-lives?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZnRzaARokl9leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAadviFjeE3acymhPoRvGJ9ayT-cnZmJfq0cw32zuwv3ECvu28B4Nb-rNFrEx3g_aem_pSRr97hiU7ZCstPZuLoYig&brid=YWdncwEIPh9fDSdec2NPddgRprwH&utm_id=97760_v0_s00_e0_tv3_a1dennhbnficor
