Genesis

In the beginning God created the universe. Life evolves all across the universe on many worlds. Eventually there are sentient beings. Those beings continue to evolve over aeons of time. They come to see themselves superior to other lower life forms. They find a planet inhabited by an upright walking ape species. "Let US make man in OUR image". They decide to act as God and accelerate the ape's evolution. (the serpent giving humanity the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil). Their eyes were opened. They became aware they were naked. They felt shame. This is the development of the ego or the "I". Our species was given a shortcut to  consciousness/awareness. Giving us Godly intellect in animal bodies. This angered the true God for his creation has used their freewill to corrupt the lower life forms. The book of Enoch speaks of the watchers who descended to Earth to take human wives. They created a hybrid race. The Nephilim/demi-gods. They taught humanity forbidden knowledge and various pagan spiritual systems. The Earth is ruled by these "gods" and is completely overcome with corruption. God sees Noah who is "perfect in his generations" the watchers and demi-gods had not yet corrupted his lineage. God floods the Earth to erase the genetic corruption. The demi-gods were destroyed. Their spirits had no place in the afterlife for they were an abomination. They became disembodied demonic spirits. There were surviving Nephilim bloodlines. These bloodlines preserved ancient knowledge of their pre-flood demi-god ancestors through the ancient mystery schools up to the secret societies of today. This is my interpretation of Genesis.
