I’m having loads of trouble on ps5

I recently bought the ps5 version after seeing about Oliver playing the game, so far it’s been really fun but azazel just isn’t working for me, every time I shoot right it either flicks back to the left, or cancels, I can’t use the square button to shoot because it always fires left for some reason to matter which way I’m facing or last shot a beam, I’m trying to unlock Lilith but can revenge get,past the first floor on greed with this guy because I can’t fire right, I can’t see an option to resize the controller dead zone and don’t know how to do it on the ps5, there’s also the issue of not being able to see items, while Oliver can, is that a mod he’s using? I’ve beaten mom so I should have it?

If there’s no solution and I just have to avoid playing azazel, Lilith and every other characters that requires them to lock or used beams I would love to know, cause that’s super annoying
