Has anyone had experience or know what its like to use a NVME on SATA adapter

I have a bunch of NVME's sitting around from fixing and refurbishing laptops and I only have one actual NVME slot on my motherboard, and I'm running out of storage big time but I have 3 vacant SATA ports, I'm fine with the speed loss as its just for games/photos/documents but is there any reliability issues or a vendor I should buy from
