can anyone help me id this spider?

im from ontario canada and ive had two of these spiders in my room recently. i have bad arachnophobia but learning about the spiders around me ease my nerves (so that i understand their purpose and if i should be scared or not). the spiders are more active at night and run really fast and jittery. also at night they seem to scale DOWN my walks which makes me even more nervous. they also sometimes like to hide in the corners of my wall. soss
